I was part of the Hill Cumorah work crew in the bicentennial summer of 1976. At that time we lived in a shed located at the rear of the Hill Cumorah known as the Wind Tunnel. I don't know if that facility is still there or not. All of our meals were served up the road from the Wind Tunnel at the food building. Serving on the Hill Cumorah Pageant work crew was an invaluable six weeks in my life. It prepared me for my mission to New Zealand, to my marriage, and my various leadership callings in the Church.
