HOT! HOT! HOT!!!!!

Today has been brutal!

97 degrees and 97% humidity! UGH!!!!

But despite all that the Work Crew has been working hard, smiling and generally been delightful! 

25 gallons of Gatorade and 15 gallons of water later....

It has been less than 12 hours since they were all brought together and already they are a band of brothers! It is such a miraculous thing to stand back and watch happen. 

Thank you to all you parents that have shared your amazing sons with us for the next month!

I am SOOOOOO excited to get to know their spirits and grow to love them as my own!

We have had a very full day of airport arrivals, missed flights and waiting for others to arrive.

2018 Work Crew is Gearing Up!!!

Brother Hess and I arrived on Wednesday with our Assistant Brother Rodriguez, who was on Work Crew in 2014 and served as a District Leader in 2015. He has since served a mission in the Fukuoka Japan Mission. He returned home in October and has been attending SVU. We are sooooo thrilled to have him serving as our Assistant for this coming Work Crew service. He is one of the hardest working individuals I have ever met and he has the brightest smile you will ever see. He is always happy and always striving to do what is right. He will be an outstanding example for all the young men coming to serve the Hill Cumorah Pageant in just less than a week!! Can't wait to get started!!!!!
